六、教学过程

Step1热身复习,导入新课

1. Warm up. Play a memory game. Ask the students to say like this.

A: We are going shopping and we want to buy some apples.

B: We are going shopping and we want to buy some apples and oranges.

C: We are going shopping and we want to buy some apples, oranges and bread.

2. Make the students understand the differences between the countable nouns and uncountable nouns.(向学生教授可数名词和不可数名词间的区别,以及如何将可数名词的单数变成复数形式。)

3. Revise the following dialogues.

How much is that pen?     It is ten yuan.  It is cheap.

How much are the apples?  They are ten yuan a kilo. They are expensive.

Ask the students to practise the dialogues in pairs.

Step2 师生互动,逐步深入

SB Part 1 对话处理

1. SB Page 63. Part 1. Listen to the tape and ask the whole class to answer this question, “What does Tom buy?” Then check the answer.

2. Books open. Play the tape again and ask the students to repeat.

3. Make the whole class practise the dialogue in pairs, and then act them out in front of the whole class.

4. Ask them to do the exercises in the workbook of Lesson 115.

SB Part 2 对话处理

1. Ask the students to make up dialogues using the dialogue as a model. They should use the items in the box.

2. Have some volunteers to read their dialogue for the class.

SB Part 3 听力材料处理

1. Get the students to read the questions in Wb Lesson 115 Ex 1. before playing the tape.

2. Play the tape three times and ask them to finish the exercises.

3. Check the answers to these questions.

(1, He wants to go shopping,  2. Yes, he does.    3, 12 eggs   4. Yes, they do.  5. Pears, oranges and bananas.   6. 12 eggs, two bottles of milk, a kilo of fish, half a kilo of pears, half a kilo of oranges, bananas.)

Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈

1. Make an interview. Work in groups and finish the following form.

    What does your mother buy?  How much are they?
