六、教学过程

Step1热身复习,导入新课

1. Warm up. Ask the students to act out the dialogues which may happen in a shop. For example.

A: What do you want to buy?   B:I want to buy some apples. How much are they?

A: Five yuan a kilo.           B: They are cheap.

2. Revise Lesson 114, Part 2. Get the students to make dialogues and act them out in front of the whole class.

3.Part 1 of Lesson 116

Ask the students to listen to the tape carefully, and then ask them to repeat them.

At last ask them to pay attention to the pronunciation of the letters.

4. Part 2 of Lesson 116

Ask the students to listen to tape and repeat. After that get the whole class to pay attention to the stress and intonation of the sentences.

Step2 师生互动,逐步深入

SB Part 3 阅读材料处理

!. Ask the whole class to read the passage silently.

2.Make the students answer the seven questions after the passage, and then check the answers.

3.Make the whole class understand the passage.

4. Books closed. Ask the students to listen to the tape of this passage.

5. Make the whole class say the passage after the tape or the teacher.

SB Part 4 阅读材料处理

1. Ask the students to read the passage silently.

2. Have some students read the passage loudly for the whole class, and make them understand the meaning of this passage.

3. Now in pairs, the students write a dialogue, using the list given.

4. Ask some volunteers to read their dialogues for the whole class.

Checkpoint of Unit 29

     Ask the students to read through the checkpoint of this unit. If there are some problems, the teacher should help them solve these problems.

1. Make an interview. Ask the students to work in groups and then finish the following form.
