一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)

四、教学过程(Teaching procedures)
1.热身准备,导入新课
(1)教师提问学生,请学生谈论不同国家的人们最喜欢的食物。T: What’s Americans’ favourite food? Talk about it.
(2)搞一个全班调查,活跃气氛。Ask: Whose favourite food is Chocolate? Hands up, please!自然引入到Who does housework at home? Hands up, please!
(3)教师再问:Who of your parents does housework in your family at the weekend?列出下列可能性:
a. Both father and mother do housework together.
b. Either father or mother does housework.
c. Only father does housework.
d. Only mother does housework.
e. Neither father nor mother does housework.
教师通过英语解释让学生理解新结构:Both…and, either…or, neither…nor.强调
谓语动词的正确使用。
2.自然过渡,导入阅读
(1)结合上述几种可能性提问学生最希望看到哪一种情形,做好铺垫以后提问:What about Han Mei ‘s family and an Indian girl India’s family? Read quickly and find out the answers.
In Han Mei’s family, either father or mother does housework.
In Indira’s family, only mother does housework. Neither father nor brother does house work.
(2)仔细阅读并讨论课文中的问题,解释a bit of housework = a little housework.
3.结合实际,开展辩论
初二的学生已经有了一定的思想,结合课文,我们的辩题是:正方:Men should do housework. 反方:Men needn’t do housework.给学生适当的小组讨论准备时间,然后展开辩论赛,教师做裁判。最后分出胜负,教师总结。
4. 师生合作,巩固知识
先用下列句型进行造句竞赛:
both…and neither…nor either…or
再次强调谓语动词的正确使用。
然后朗读课文后做练习(请点击“试题集锦3”)
5.探究学习,攻克难点
(1)告诉学生在英语中有五种基本句型,四人小组活动,探究式学习,找规律,自己总结,教师巡回作适当的点拨。
最后师生一起总结如下:
1) 主语(S) + 不及物动词(Vi) She leaves.
2) 主语(S) + 及物动词(Vt) +宾语(O) She leaves Shaoxing.
3)主语(S) +系动词(be/look/feel/taste/keep)(Vl) + 表语(P) She feels happy.
4)主语(S) +及物动词(Vt)+间接宾语(人)(InO)+直接宾语(物)(DO)
She gave me an apple.
5)主语(S) +及物动词(Vt) + 宾语(O) + 宾语补足语(C)(补充说明宾语的情况)
She makes me happy.
