一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)

    1.知识目标:学习下列新单词和词组:without, take-away food, home cooking, by the window, madam, order, bill, waiter

    2.能力目标:培养学生在餐桌上熟练运用英语的能力。

    3.情感目标:让学生体会得体的餐桌礼仪。

二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points)

1.餐桌上的习惯用语的掌握和运用。

2.新词汇的熟练掌握。

三、教学方法(Teaching methods)

    1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。

    2.采用任务型教学法。

四、教学过程(Teaching procedures):

  1.热身准备,导入新课

(1) 复习下列句型进行造句竞赛:

both…and         neither…nor        either…or

可以适当了解either of     neither of    both of 

(2)教师提问:Do you like tea with sugar or tea with no sugar?

  学生回答:I like tea with sugar./I like tea with no sugar./I like neither of them. /I like either/both of them.

  教师自然引出:tea with no sugar = tea without any sugar. 强调without 后面用any,不要用no或some.并介绍文化背景:Chinese people like tea without anything inside. But English people like tea with milk or sugar inside.

  (3)教师呈现Chenhui 在Ann家里的图片,谈论chips从而引出take-away food和home cooking.

   Take-away food is usually in a bag. We can take it away from a restaurant and eat it in any place.

   We can cook the food at home, too. It’s called home cooking.

     2.师生互动,由浅入深

(1)带着问题听录音。问题是:Is the food take-away food or home cooking? What does Chenhui think of the food?

(2)Read the dialogue and get ready to act in three students.

(3)请3-4组学生上讲台进行表演。

(4)做听力,听两篇短文,做四题选择题。

3.自然过渡,导入下一环节

(1)结合听力材料引入restaurant的话题,呈现restaurant的图画。

T: What does he do? He is a waiter. He works in a restaurant. What is he doing now? He is writing down the dishes the two people order. He is taking their order. What are the two people doing? They are ordering dishes they want. After dinner, the two people will say:” Could we have the bill?”.  So the waiter will give them a bill. And the two people will have to pay money for the bill.

(2)带着问题听录音。问题是:Which food do they order? What drink do they drink after they eat food?

(3)Read the dialogue and get ready to act in three students.

(4)请3-4组学生上讲台进行表演。

4. 师生合作,巩固知识

(1)写作练习,要求谈论Chinese food.引导学生分地区写,如:

 China is very famous for its food in the world. There are many kinds of food in China. The north part of China is famous for its dumplings. There can be meat like pork or beef or vegetables inside dumplings. In the south, people eat much fish. In Shanghai the food is sweet. In Sichuan the food is very hot. But no matter where you are in China, the food is always delicious.

(2)模仿幸运52搞一个猜谜游戏,复习这单元的词汇。如:

   Japanese use them to eat noodles.----- Chopsticks

   It looks like salt, but it tastes sweet.----- Sugar

   We eat soup with it. ----- spoon

   It’s a kind of food. We use it to cook food.----oil

   American people use them to eat dinner.----knife and fork

   People use it when they drink beer or wine.--- glass

  (3)做巩固练习(请点击“试题集锦4”)

  (4)进行小测试。

   可以把本单元的重点列出来给学生测试。
