提高学生听说读写的英语综合运用能力。

通过让学生学习林峰帮助黄阿姨照顾小孩的这篇日记， 教育学生发扬互帮互助，乐于助人的精神。

在教学中，突出交际性，注重读写的实用性。进行情感和策略调整，以形成积极的学习态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高，躺学生真正做到教中学，在学中用，学以致用。

Step 1 复习导入
1. Warm-up
Greet the class by asking: How are you ? How’s your family? While chating with the students, we can revise the family relationships of aunt, uncle and cousin, etc.
2. 通过提问，为下面学习日记格式做准备：
T: What day is it today? What’s the date today? What’s the weather like today?
从学生的答案中找出重点词写在黑板上，正好形成一个某篇日记的起始部分。例如：
Wednesday May 16, 2005 Fine
扼要介绍如何写好日记的格式（即日期、星期几、天气情况）复习单词diary.
Step 2 师生互动，呈现新课
1. 打开书本，学生看图。通过回答教师几个简单的问题，学生先获得一点信息：
Who can you see in the picture? Can you see the baby’s mother?
What’s the baby doing in Picture I? Is the baby crying in Picture II?
2. 让学生读日记一遍，讨论回答问题：
How did Ling Feng make the baby stop crying?
在讨论中教学新词汇：
turn on: First, Ling Feng turned on the radio. The baby stopped crying and listened to the music.
after a while: After a while, the baby started to cry again.
turn off: Ling Feng turned off the radio and started to sing.
not…any more: and then the baby didn’t cry any more.
make faces: Then Ling Feng made faces and jumped like a monkey.
whole: The whole afternoon, Ling Feng jumped and sang and did al kinds of things.
让学生看书、听录音一遍，做T/F question.并呈现新词汇 the Summer Palace, leave one by oneself.
(T) Ling Feng wrote the diary on Friday, June 21st.
(F) Ling Feng went to the Summer Palace on Friday afternoon.
(F) Aunt Huang left the baby by herself.
(T) All this afternoon, Ling Feng looked after the baby.
(T) When Aunt Huang returned, Ling Feng was so tired.
让学生跟录音读日记一遍，做课文填空练习：

Step 3 巩固拓展,达标发馈
1．指导学生两人一组，设计一个凌峰与刘明的小对话，谈论关于凌峰照看婴儿的话题，准备三分钟，请学生到前面表演，要求学生运用所学过的语言，把意思表达清楚即可。
2．Do Exercise 2 in the Workbook.
Step 4 作业布置,延伸课外
Write a diary using these phrases to help you:
Stay on a farm/ Miss Wang with us/ help farmers do farm work/ get up at six/eat breakfast quickly/ go to field/ pick wheat/ work hard/ tired but happy/ come back late
