一.   教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands

1.  识目标

A . 学习下列词汇:the summer holidays, take sb to sp, be exciting, interesting places, have a wonderful time, etc.

B. 复习巩固有关情态动词must, mustn’t, have to, has to, had to, can, can’t, could, couldn’t, may, need的用法。

2.能力目标

  通过对话阅读、问答训练、展开想象编对话等提高学生用英语交际的语言综合运用能力。

3.  目标

  通过学习讨论假期活动的计划,引导学生怎样过一个有意义的假期,同时培养积极主动的学习精神。

二.教学重点(Key points)

复习情态动词must, mustn’t, have to, has to, had to, can, can’t, could, couldn’t, may, need的用法和一般将来时态的运用。

三.教学难点(difficult points)

有关情态动词的特定意义的特定用法。

四.教学方法(Teaching methods)

  1.  通过让学生谈论未来暑假活动计划,复习一般将来时态的运用。

  2.        通过小组合作活动,任务型教学法等手段使学生主动学习,乐于学习。

.教学过程 ( Teaching procedures)

Step 1 复习导入

  1. Warm-up

   Everyday greeting

  2. Say today is ( Date).It’ll be July soon. We are going to have our exams. After we finish our exams, we’ll have our summer holidays. Ask individual student: What are you going to do in your summer holidays? (ask five students.)

  3. This time the teacher says: In this summer holiday, I’ll go to my hometown. I’ll visit my grandparents. They’ll be very happy to see me again. And then I’ll also visit a few cities. Such as Shanghai, Beijing and xian. I think they are all very interesting places. I’m sure I’ll have a wonderful time.

老师边讲边呈现有用的词汇: the summer holidays, take sb to sp, be exciting, interesting places, have a wonderful time, etc.

  4. Do Workbook Exercise 1 in Lesson 79. Let the students make up dialogues with the words from the box using the future tense.

     We mustn’t run.

Step 2 深入新课

  SB Part 1 对话处理

  1. Say You have told me what you are going to do during this summer holiday. What about Emma and Hu Xin? What are they going to do this summer holiday? Let the students listen to the tape and find the answers.

Hu xin is going to his hometown in xinjiang. Emma is going to a few cities in the south.

  2.Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat.

  3.Get the students to read the dialogue in pairs.

  4.Call out four pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class.

  SB Part 2的处理.

  1.Have the students make correct sentences in pairs. Then ask several pairs to share their answers. At last check the answers with the whole class.(1.H, 2.E, 3. D, 4. B, 5. C, 6. A, 7. F, 8.G)

  2. 让学生结合Part 2,总结所学情态动词的用法,要求学生区分每个情态动词的不同含义,并能举例补充。如have to与 must的区别以及他们在不同人称后的形式,need 两种不同词性在句中的用法,must, may 引导的一般疑问句的肯定回答和否定回答等。

  SB Part 3的处理

  Let the students look at the list and write down what they can do and what they can’t do now on a paper. Then have the students talk about the lists in pairs. See how many students can do something and how many students can’t do anything.

Step 3 巩固拓展,达标发馈

  1.Do Wb Ex.2orally in class. Let the student do it in pairs.

  2.Have the students fill in the blanks with suitable words in workbook on page 95.

Step 4 作业布置,延伸课外

  结合Part 1和 Part 4.让学生两人一组,说说他们自己五一长假计划,如和爸爸妈妈回老家探亲、去外地旅游、在家帮干农活、踢球、学游泳、参观名胜、在家复习功课等。请他们 互相询问对方计划,并编成对话,准备表演。

  补全对话:
