六、教学过程
Step1热身复习,导入新课
1. Warm up. First show the whole class a pictures of Yao Ming. Ask some students these questions.
Who is this man? (He is Yao Ming.) Do you like him? (Yes, I do.)
Why? ( He is good at playing basketball.)
What is he doing? (He is playing basketball now.)
2.利用教学图片,或者教师利用肢体语言,以师生对话的方式,教授swimming, skiing, ice skating, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, roller-skating, chess等体育运动的名称以及favourite sport等短语。例如:
What is this sport? (It is swimming.)
Do you like swimming? (Yes, I do. I like it very much. Swimming is my favourite sport. No, I don’t. I don’t like it. Swimming is not my favourite sport.)
Step2 师生互动,逐步深入
SB Part 2 对话处理
1.Ask the whole class to make a similar dialogue. Then invite some pairs to act the dialogue out in front of the whole class.
2.Give every student a chart . Ask them to ask questions in groups and get ready for a report according to the chart. For example:
A likes swimming. Swimming is his favourite sport.
B likes table tennis. Table tennis is his favourite sport.
C likes chess. Chess is his favourite sport.
D likes ice skating. Ice skating is his favourite sport.
What is your favourite sport?
SB Part 1 对话处理
1. Ask one student to help the teacher. (师生进行篮球中的传球、接球等动作,教授学生play basketball, catch the ball, pass the ball like this, 以及I am good at basketball.等短语、句子。)
2.Books closed. Listen to the tape and ask the whole class to answer: “Is Ling good at basketball?”
3.Books open. Listen to the tape again and ask the students to say after the tape.
4.Practice in groups. First the students practise the dialogue in groups, then the teacher can ask some groups to act it out. Or Divide the whole class into three groups and ask them to read the whole dialogue together.
Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈
1. Discussion. Give the whole class five minutes and discuss these questions:
What is your favourite sport?
Which player do you like?
What other things do you know about this sport?
Are you good at it?
Who is also good at it in our class?
2. Work in class. Finish some exercises about this lesson.

1.My father’s favourite sport is chess. _________________________.
2. LiLei is good at playing tennis. _________________________.
3. I like swimming very much. _________________________.
4. Is skiing an easy sport? _________________________.
