POSITION
:Human Resources Manager DIVISION :Human Resources REPORTS TO :General Manager SUBORDINAE :Assistant Personnel Manager, Assistant Training Manager, Secretary JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the monitoring the operation of Human Resource Department and offer necessary service to the department to satisfy the manning requisition. Works out various Personnel policies and training plan and ensure them be carried out. Controls and maintains a reasonable manning level fir the Hotel. Monitors and develops the Human Resources. Advises the Management of any phases related to the employees. DUTIES AND RESPINSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for the establishment and functions of the Personnel, Employment and Training departments, reporting to General Manager, acting in an advisory capacity in all phases of employee relations. 2. Establishes and review all hotel practices and policies concerning personnel and employee relations, and recommends to the Management any innovations or revisions. 3. Responsible for visiting, advising, consulting or meeting with various department heads and supervisors to exchange pertinent information. 4. Prepares written procedures for management in arriving at labor contract agreements, reviews information concerning changes in union agreement, and advises management and supervision of any revisions.

Plans and carries out policies relating to all phases of personnel activities: Recruits, Interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. 7. Responsible for various personnel functions such as employment, insurance, training, service awards, personnel records, unemployment compensation, safety, and workmen’ s compensation, and many other procedures relating to employer-employee relations. 8. Represents company at personnel-related hearings and investigations. 9. Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. 10. Keeps records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purpose. 11. Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier. 12. Prepares procedure releases concerning these union agreements to staff matters. Maintains liaison with union and department heads, which includes any grievance procedures.
13. Maintains various contacts with local personnel organizations and various sources of labor. 14. Conducts wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. 15. Prepares budget of personnel operations. 16. Responsible for the training and development of an assistant personnel and training manager and/or other personnel staff, in the carrying out of their daily assignments. 17. Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the in-hotel training program: Orientation Training, Skill Training, Communication Meetings, Supervisory Training, Cross-exposure Training and the Hotel Management trainee Program to foster positive attitude towards company goals. 18. May receive special assignments from the General Manager, and utilizes the capacity of the personnel department in completing such projects. 19. Performs other duties as required by General Manager. |
