一. 教学目的和要求（Teaching aims and demands）

　　A . 学习下列新单词和词组: hit, noise, make a noise, disturb, passenger, get on, get off, push, stand in line, turn

　　B. 日常交际用语: You must be more careful.

　　　You mustn’t cross the road now.

　　　If you want to cross a street, you must wait for the green light.

　　C.教学由when, before, after 引导的时间状语从句和if引导的条件状语从句.

　2. 能力目标

　　培养学生听说读写的英语综合能力。

　3. 情感目标

　　通过让学生学习有关交通方面的”禁止和警告”,教育学生要爱惜生命,遵守交通规则.

　　情态动词must 表示义务和必要性的肯定和否定形式。

三. 教学难点（difficult points）

　　状语从句的学习和初步运用。

四. 教学方法（Teaching methods）

　1. 展示交通事故图片，让学生看看事故，议议原因。以吸引学生注意，激发学生兴趣， 拓展学生想象。

　2. 通过小组合作活动,任务型教学法等手段使学生用中学英语,学中用英语.

六. 教学过程 ( Teaching procedures)

Step 1 热身准备,导入新课

　1. Warm-up

　　Ask a student to perform actions as a policeman do. Let the students guess what is the meaning of his actions.

　2. 呈现交通事故图片, 切入新课主题, 教学新单词hit

　(1) Say something about the accident according to the following questions.

　　A. What did the boy want to do?

　　B. What happened to him?

　　C. What do you think of him?

　(2) Discuss with the whole class.

　　A. He wanted to cross the road.

　　B. A car nearly hit him.

　　C. He is careless. It is dangerous to cross the road like him.

　(3) Let the students discuss how we should cross the road.

　　Help the students to say:

　　When we cross the road, we must be more careful.

　　First we must stop.

　　Then we must look carefully

　　Then we can cross the road.

　　But we must walk across the road.

　　We mustn’t run.

　(4) Let the students drill in this way with the words must or mustn’t.

　　教学新单词 make a noise, disturb, push, stand in line.

　　T: Be more careful! T: Don’t make a lot of noise!

　　Ss: You must be more careful! Ss: You mustn’t make a lot of noise!

　　T: Look left and right! T: Don’t disturb others.

　　Ss: You must look left and right! Ss: You mustn’t disturb others!

　　T: Wait for the green light. T: Don’t push others!

　　Ss: You must wait for the green light. Ss: You mustn’t push others!

　　T: Wait for your turn. T: Stand in line.

　　Ss: You must wait for your turn. Ss: You must stand in line!

Step 2 师生互动,由浅入深.

SB Part 1 对话处理

　1. Look listen and then answer the following questions:

　　A. Who can you see in the picture?

　　B. What does Kate want to do?

　　C. What is Jim saying to her?

　2.Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat.

　3.Let the students practice the dialogue in pairs.

　4.Ask some pairs to act out in front of the class.

SB Part 2的处理.

　1.利用事先准备好的交通灯图片提问:

　　What are these? What colour are they?

　　What must we do when the traffic lights are red/yellow/green?

　　Help the students to answer :

　　They are traffic lights. Sometimes they are red, sometimes they are yellow, and sometimes they are green. When the traffic lights are red, we must stop. When the traffic lights are yellow, we must wait. When the traffic lights are green, we can cross the road.

　2.Listen to the tape and then read after it.

　3Work in pairs and fill in the blanks:

　　Get the students to make sentences in pairs

　　Check the answers with the whole class.

Step 3 巩固拓展,达标发馈

　1.Do Wb Ex.2orally in class. Complete the sentences with must or mustn’t.

　2.Look at the signs, say something about them in English as quickly as possible.

　　You must stop. Or It’s dangerous to cross the road.

　　You must turn right.

　　You mustn’t touch it. Or It’s dangerous here.

　　It’s safe to cross the road.

　　You mustn’t par you’re here. Or No parking.

　　You mustn’t take photos here. Or No photos.

Step 4 作业布置,延伸课外

　  全面复习本课基础知识和基本句型后,写8-10句话.Tell your grandparents what they should do when they cross the road at the traffic lights. Write down the sentences in your exercise book.
