11 JEFC Book 2 Unit 17 Lesson 67 一. 教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands) 1. 知识目标 A . 学习下列新单词和词组: quiet, quietly, reading room, alone, plastic, throw about. B. 日常交际用语: If you don’t go soon, you’ll be late. I don’t feel very well. My head hurts. You mustn’t eat anything until you see the doctor. C.继续学习由when, before, after 引导的时间状语从句和if引导的条件状语从句. 2. 能力目标:培养学生听说读写的英语综合能力。 3. 情感目标:通过让学生学习有关生病的内容,教育学生要关注健康,掌握一些生病应注 意的常识。. 二. 教学重点(Key points) 情态动词must 表示义务和必要性的肯定和否定形式。 表示时间、条件的状语从句。 三. 教学难点(difficult points) 状语从句的时态。 Quiet, quietly, alone, plastic 等单词的正确读音和拼写。 四. 教学方法(Teaching methods) 1. 通过小组合作活动,使学生用中学英语,学中用英语. 2. 通过想一想、议一议、说一说、听一听等形式激发学生学习的兴趣。 五. 教具 (Teaching aids) 录音机 六. 教学过程 ( Teaching procedures) Step 1 以旧带新,导入新课 1.抽查个别学生课文复述情况。 2. 教师在学生复述课文的基础上接着说: What was wrong with the old woman ? (学生集体应答:Her knees hurt badly.) Yes, her knees hurt badly. So she went to see the doctor. But she made a mistake. Everyone laughed at her. (这时一位事先准备好的学生站起来,假装生病的样子说) S1: Sorry, Miss Wu. I don’t feel very well. T: Oh, dear! What’s wrong with you ? S1: I don’t know. My … T: Your knees hurt badly, too. S1: No, my head hurts. T: Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. His head hurts. What must he do now? Have the students make a list of the things he must do ,i.e., He will have to see the doctor. He must go home. He must have a good rest. He must stay in bed. He must drink a lot of water. etc. T: That’s right. If you are ill, you’ll have to see the doctor. But you mustn’t eat anything until you see the doctor.(教师边讲边板书) Step 2 师生互动,由浅入深. SB Part 1 对话处理 1. 教师板书听前问题:What’s wrong with Kate Books closed. Play the tape for the students to find the answer. (Kate says her head hurts.) 2. Books open. Play the tape again. Students listen and repeat. Ask Why does Kate feel better? (Because she is hungry and wants to have some breakfast.) 3. Let the students practise reading in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out the dialogue. See who can do it without the books. SB Part 2的处理 1.Read over the sentences with the students. Have the students guess the similarities between them. Explain that when, if, after and before are used as subordinating conjunctions. The clause that follows a subordinating conjunction, is not a complete sentence. 2. 教学新单词: .quiet, quietly, reading room, alone, plastic 3. 为进一步操练由if, when, after 等引导的状语从句 Do Exercise 2 in the workbook. Ask the students to complete the sentences and ask them to pay attention to the tense. Then check the answers with the whole class. SB Part 3的处理 First have the students finish the sentences individually. Then have the students share their answers with their partners. At last check the answers with the whole class. Step 3 巩固拓展,达标发馈 1.Do Wb Ex.3orally in class. 2.Let the students discuss what things we must do and what things we mustn’t do at school. 3.Let the students discuss what things we must do and what things we mustn’t do at school.
