JEFC Book2 Unit18 Lesson71

一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)

  1.知识目标:

   A.学习下列新单词和词组:angry, hard, smell, rich, become

   B.学习下列系动词的用法:taste, look, seem, feel, be, smell, become

   C.理解don’t have to 与mustn’t 的区别。

  2.能力目标:培养学生听说读写的综合能力。

  3.情感目标:教育学生知名人,学名人。

二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points)

1.系动词的正确运用,进一步巩固have to的用法。

2.用自己的语言谈论名人。

三、教学方法(Teaching methods)

  1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。

  2.采用任务型教学法。

四、教学过程(Teaching procedures)

 1.热身准备,导入新课

(1)请同学复述Roy的情况

(2)搞一个小组间的竞赛,活跃气氛。每组派出一名代表讲述最好的梦,进行评比。

  (3)教师讲述:I think everyone has a dream. Do you know what was my dream when I was young? 引导学生猜测dream的另一个意思“梦想”。教师接着介绍:When I was young , my dream was to become a student in college. What’s your dream now?学生将自然地运用新词become来表达自己地梦想,最后教师说:In 1991, I became a student in college. I felt very happy. How about this boy? Does he feel happy?(教师同时呈现一个生气的男孩的图片) He feels very angry.

  (4)通过呈现对比的图画引出:

a.     The soup tastes delicious./The soup tastes terrible.

b.     The flowers smell nice./The medicine smells terrible.

c.     The stone feels hard./The sofa feels soft(只要求了解).

(5)结合板书让学生总结这些动词的特点,最后教师总结如下:

动词  a.行为动词(表示动作)+ 副词(如happily)如:sing, dance, play, talk

      b. 系动词(表示状态)+ 形容词(如happy)如:be /become /feel /taste /smell /look /seem /sound /keep /get /turn /get

2.自然过渡,导入课文

(1)完成课文第二部分。

(2)完成课文第三部分。用英语解释:a rich family = a family with a lot of money.

(3)完成课文第一部分。用英语解释:don’t have to = needn’t

   让学生两人间结合图片操练对话。

3. 师生合作,巩固知识

  (1)教师先示范造句如下:

     I don’t have to do homework, but I must do housework.

     My son doesn’t have to stop watching TV, but he mustn’t watch too long.

 然后让学生六人一组讨论造句,然后进行竞赛,比一比,赛一赛,哪一小组的句子最多,最好。

(2)做巩固练习巩固have to 和系动词的用法

(该题改编自励耘精品系列丛书初二《课时导航》(下) P22-23第三、七大题)  

改错:

1.     The boy feels very badly.

2.     We must keep our room cleaning.

3.     They became very popularly then.

4.     You have to look after yourself.

5.     There is no school today. Lucy and Lily have to get up early.

(3)鼓励学生用自己的语言谈论自己喜欢的名人,尽可能地多谈论,可以在小组中谈论,然后把它写下来。教师四周巡视,起到指导和帮助的作用,然后挑选优秀的文章作为听力练习供全班同学使用,激励学生做精做好。范例如下:

Lu Xun was born in my hometown Shaoxin in 1881. She died in 1936 in Shaohai. He was one of the greatest writer in the world. But at first he wasn’t a writer. He was a doctor. But he became a writer after he watched a film when he was in Japan. He wrote to save our country. It was very dangerous, but he didn’t stop doing that. He was very brave. I like to read his passages very much.

在请同学朗读他们的作品前,发下下列表格:

最后教师总结:Thank you for your good job. There are many great people in the history. We say they are great because they help others. They do something good for their country, even the world. And also they are all very brave. They are not afraid of anything. So let’s learn from them. Try to be a helpful man or woman.
