JEFC Book 2 Unit 20 Lesson 77 一. 教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands) 1. 知识目标 A. 掌握并会运用下列新单词: get, myself, cousin, engineer, cancer, care, sad, death B. 掌握并会运用下列新词组:buy sth for sb, how to use it, learn all by oneself, teach oneself, don’t know much about sth, at a computer company, have a nice weekend, smoke a lot, must be worried, take care of, do the cooking, fast food, make you happy/sad C. 理解掌握下列日常交际用语,并能在情景中运用: My parents bought a computer for me. But I don’t know how to use it yet. My cousin is working at a computer company. Sorry to hear that. Your parents must be worried. I had to take care of my younger brother. What make s you hay? 2. 能力目标 培养学生听说读写的英语综合能力。 3. 情感目标 通过让学生学习描述令人高心和伤心的事,教育学生正确面对人生。. 二.教学重点(Key points) 1. 复习情态动词can, must, have to 等的用法。 2. 复习一般现在时态,一般过去时态,现在进行时态的用法。 3. 教学表达高兴和悲伤的日常交际用语。 三.教学难点(difficult points) 教学表达高兴和悲伤的日常交际用语。 四.教学方法(Teaching methods) 1. 运用开放式教学策略,以有效的课堂为载体,带学生进入广阔的知识天地。启发学生列出生活中他们常常遇到的高心或悲伤的事情,还可以进一步要求他们据此造句或编对话。 2. 循序渐进和尊重差异策略,由简到繁,由难到易,为有困难学生搭好梯子,让有能力的学生先跳起来摘到果子。 3. 通过小组合作活动,任务型教学法等手段使学生用中学英语,学中用英语. 五. 教具 (Teaching aids) 图片,录音机 六. 教学过程 ( Teaching procedures) Step 1 热身准备,导入新课 1. 出示电脑图片,在电脑的感性效果作用下,吸引学生是兴趣和注意,自然地让学生运用英语进行交际。 T: What’s this? Class: It’s a computer. T: Do you have a computer at home? S1: Yes, I do. T: Who bought it for you? S1: My parents. T: Do you know how to use it? S1: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t know. T: Who taught you ? Did you teach yourself? /Will you learn to use it all by yourself? S1: ……. Use the same way to get two more students to answer the questions. 2. Say I have a computer, too. But I don’t know how to use it, yet. I’ll have to learn all by myself./teach myself. Get students to guess the meaning of yet , teach myself, learn all by oneself.教学新词汇:yet , teach myself, learn all by oneself,don’t know how to use it. Step 2 师生合作,深入课文 Part 1 的处理 Dialogue A A: 听,表层理解:听录音,回答: 1. Does Han Mei know how to use the computer? 2. Can she teach herself? 3. Who can help her? B: 读,细节理解:听录音,跟读课文,回答: 1. What does Han Mei’s cousin do? 2. Where does she work? C: 读,模仿表演:小组分角色朗读,模仿表演。 教学新单词:cousin, engineer, at a computer company, Dialogue B 听录音一遍后,让学生朗读对话,然后两人小组讨论回答下面几个问题: 1. Why did Paul have to take care of himself and his little brother? 2. What’s wrong with his uncle? 3. What’s his uncle’s problem? 教学新词汇:have cancer, smoke a lot, take care of Part 2 的处理 1. 让学生朗读第二部分2遍,学习游泳的词汇: make sb happy/ sad, the little dog’s death 2. 启发学生列出生活中他们常常遇到的高心或悲伤的事情。 What do you have to do at home on Sunday?
3.提供适当短语,让学生据此造句。 Happy: pass an exam, do well in, have birthday party, get a present, win a match Sad: be ill, fail in an exam, lose sth, sth is broken Step 3 作业布置 1. Do Exercise 2 in the workwork, Complete the dialogue. 2.
