一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)
1.知识目标:
学习下列新单词或词组:trouble, headache, cough, terrible, take one’s temperature, serious, feel like, pain;
掌握看病就医的表达法;熟练运用have to/has to。
2.能力目标:培养学生英语表达及询问身体情况的能力。
3.情感目标:让学生学会关心他人,关爱生命。
二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points)
1. 熟练掌握看病就医的表达法。
2.灵活运用have to/has to/had to。
三、教学方法(Teaching methods)
1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。
2.采用任务型教学法。
四、教学过程(Teaching procedures):
1.热身准备,导入新课
(1) 通过做Touch游戏复习身体各部位,为新课作铺垫。重点复习back, head, leg, ear, eye, knee和arm。
(2) 教师呈现一幅头痛的图片然后提问: Is she fine? What’s wrong with her?
学生回答:There is something wrong with her head. OR Her head hurts.
教师自然引出:She has a headache.= She has a pain in her head.
(3) 教师呈现板书如下:
---What’s wrong/the matter with her? = What’s the/her trouble?
---Her/His head hurts. = She has a headache.
= She has a pain in her head.
并借助动作引出:She has a serious headache.= Her head hurts badly.
教师运用图片让学生间问答如下:
--- What’s her/his trouble?
--- She/He has a pain in her/his back/leg/arm/arm/ear.
--- She/He will have to see a doctor.
(4) 教师借助图片和动作引出:
What’s his trouble? He has a cough. He has a terrible cough. 并且指出:
He has a terrible cough = He coughs terribly.
2.师生互动,由浅入深
(1)带着问题听录音。
问题是:What’s Jill’s trouble? What does she have to do?
学生回答:She has a headache and a terrible cough. She has to see a doctor.
(2)Read the dialogue
(3)解决课文第二部分:
Puzzle dialogue.根据上下文推测下列词和词组的意义:
take one’s temperature, nothing serious,
feel like doing = want to do = would like to do
have a cold, take the medicine
three times a day, even/any+比较级
(4)完成第四部分的课文内容,复习巩固have/has to 结构。
3. 师生合作,巩固知识
(1)让学生准备三人一组进行表演,分别扮演Jill, Mum 和医生。经过一定时间准备以后,请学生在全班面前表演。
(2)用适当的词语完成下列根据课文内容改编的短文:
This morning Jill didn’t feel very __________. Her trouble was that she had a __________ and a terrible __________. She didn’t feel __________ eating anything. So her mother __________ to take her to see a __________. Jill told the doctor that she had a __________ in her head and she felt even _________. The doctor __________ her temperature and said she had a __________ but it was nothing __________. Of course she had to take some _________,have a good __________ and __________ more water.
(3)帮助Jill写一张请假条,说明不能上学的原因。给学生一定时间后请学生展示他们的请假条,最后教师读范例:
Dear Mr. Li,
I’m sorry to tell you that I’m not feeling well today. I have a headache and a terrible cough. And I don’t feel like eating anything. The doctor said I had a cold but it was nothing serious. But I have to have a good rest, so I can’t go to school today. I hope I will get better soon and go to school tomorrow. Thank you very much.
