由于汽车供应商通过了QS-9000或VDA6.1质量体系认证后，其证书在全世界范围内并不能得到所有国家的承认和认可（至目前为止，美国三大汽车厂和德国、法国、意大利的OEMs仅就"内部审核"（QS-9000要素4.17）和"分承包方的开发"(QS-9000要素4.6中的4.6.2.1)达成相互认可）,且QS-9000和VDA6.1均不是经国际标准组织(ISO)颁布发行的。
